February - April 2010
Nuclear Free Future Walk
Footprints for Peace invited me along a journey of walking in solidarity for a nuclear free future. The walk began on February 11th in Oak Ridge TN at the Y12 Nuclear Research Facility and continued to the UN building in New York in time for the Nuclear Non Proliferation Meetings. We raised awareness and learned more about alternative energy and sustainable lifestyles while exposing the deadly effects of the nuclear industry.


December 2008 - April 2009
Baffalo Field Campaign
Participated in an on the ground, in the field, volunteer campaign to stop the slaughter and hazing of the last native herd of free roaming Bison in the world. Additional information can be found at the Buffalo Field Campaign Website.


March - July 2008
Peace Walk II
Peace walk II went from the Mexican border, straight north along the Pacific Coast thru California and Oregon, into Washington State. From there the walk headed east to Puget Sound, then north along the western shore of the sound to Port Townsend then to Bainbridge Island. From there, I headed into Bellingham and then to Blaine and Peace Arch State Park at the Canadian border.


March - September 2007
Peace Walk 1
Peace walk I went from the Pacific Coast in Oceanside, Ca through the Mojave Desert and into Parker, Az. In Arizona it went northward into the Navajo Reservation and thru the southeast corner of Utah. It then proceded aross Southern Colorado and into Southwest Kansas where I assisted in tornado clean-up in the town of Greensburg, Kansas. From there a few hundred miles were missed and I went north to Peoria, Ill, to join others on the March for Peace into Washington, D.C.

Beauty Way Food Drive
I took part in my 2nd food drive to the Navajo Reservation in No. Arizona.
This year we brought and delivered over 10 tons of food to over 100 rural households over the course of a week.

I took part in my first thanksgiving food drive. This year we delivered approximately 7 tons of food to the Navajo people on their lands in No. Arizona.

I, w/ a core group of others, was a volunteer, cooking and cleaning for about 25 homeless people per week.

I was a co-founder of a group that was formed to heighten the awareness of the plight of the Navajo people on their native lands in No. Arizona. We organized slide shows, hosted speakers from the land and held benefits musical performances.

Northeast Coalition to Save James Bay, Buffalo, New York
Took part in a large grassroots environmental effort to get 6 Northeast states to cancel their multi-billion dollar contacts w/Hydro-Quebec Power in Canada. Had the project gone thru over 10.000 native Cree peoples lands and Sacred burial grounds would have been flooded and destroyed. I was also elected a New York Representative of the Coalition.

I joined a group of people, in Central Illinois, that were walking from the West coast to the East to bring awareness to heightening peoples environmental consciousness.
