Redding

I am currently in redding and will continue south on friday 6-29. There has been the passing over of 2 5,000 ft. mountain passes and 1 4,000 ft. pass in the last few weeks and i feel it. I am into the hot valley and will be battling the temps from here to the end pretty much, maybe the walk through the mojave desert a few years ago will pay off. Many blessings to all.

Mt. Shasta

I am leaving mt. Shasta tomorrow morning and head east and make a 117 mile loop to redding. Shasta(the mountain) is incredible, out the back door of the couchsit I am staying with.

6-12 I presently am sore as hell and south of Chiloquin, Oregon at the water wheel campground. I left Eugenelast Wednesday and started walking from oakridge. I walked about 12 miles and camped at a roadside pullout 6 miles from the tunnel on hwy. 58. For 2 nights. The tunnel was terrarium Y closed. Image it through the tunnel on Friday morning after 2 nights in the rain. The next day made it about 15 mile to a over priced campground on o'dell lake after walking on and over willamette pass at 5,128 feet in the blowing snow. Next day gimped into chemult after 23 downhill miles and spent the night at a hotel. Met Ron on the way out of town and had a nice talk. Made it to about 8 miles south to the 138-97 intersection and did some bush camping. Next day found a great little restaurant at the 138-97 interchange and meet 2 great ladies and a guy named Gene who gave no ride (I cheated, don't tell anyone please) for 10 miles, thanks gene. Walked about 22 to collier state park and stayed at another overpriced campground.
